I was recently told that Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows are very distinct municipalitites. There is even a rivalry and friction existing between them according to this person. Is there any truth to this? I have always thought of these communities as one people sharing one district, I didn't even know they were two different municipalitites. I hope this Community Web Site unifies people in a spirit of good will. ... Curious.
